Leading Richmond Forward

Our Platform

Practical commitments for a safer, stronger, more accountable Richmond.

Public Safety & Drug Policy

  • Oppose supervised injection sites and unsafe social experiments near homes, schools, and community centres.
  • Invest in drug prevention education for youth, in partnership with schools and parents.
  • Restore accountability in our streets and neighbourhoods, and support community policing that builds trust.
  • Demand transparency and genuine consultation before any facility that affects community safety is approved.

Housing Done Right

  • We are not against housing — we are for the right housing, with proper planning, oversight, and safeguards.
  • Require open houses and real public consultation before major housing projects are approved.
  • Protect property rights and stand with homeowners, as we did during the Cowichan land title dispute.
  • Cut permitting delays and red tape that make building and renovating in Richmond slow and costly.

A Local Economy That Works

  • Support small businesses facing high costs and heavy regulation.
  • Safeguard taxpayers' dollars with rigorous fiscal oversight — our team includes CPAs and audit-committee veterans.
  • Keep Richmond competitive so families and entrepreneurs can build their future here.

Education That Puts Students First

  • Safe, welcoming, bully-free schools focused on academic excellence.
  • Substance-use awareness and prevention programs in the Richmond School District.
  • Meaningful parent consultation before major policy changes — including school re-naming decisions.
  • Advocate for adequate funding of public education and student mental health.

Accountable, Transparent Government

  • Decisions made with residents, not imposed on them.
  • Regular town halls and forums connecting voters with their representatives.
  • Support engagement among immigrant communities with multilingual outreach — in English and Chinese.
  • Publish clear information so residents can hold elected officials to account.

Tell us what matters to you

Our platform grows out of what residents have told us at forums, door-knocks, and town halls. Have a priority we should hear about?
